Tyler Constable’s review published on Letterboxd:
As I’m finally seeing Parasite this week I wanted to dive into some of Bong Joon-ho’s back-catalogue beforehand. Only two films in and I’m convinced this man is a one of a kind genius behind the camera.
Memories of Murder perfectly demonstrates Bong’s effortless ability to shift tones throughout his features. It’s dripping in suspense and sadness. This film is agonising and that’s what makes it (almost) perfect. An intense crime thriller that will leave you feeling haunted.
