Tyler’s review published on Letterboxd:
Have you listened to the world around you? Even in moments of silence, there’s still not true silence. You can’t even escape the sounds of your own body, your own mind. That seems to be exactly what this movie is about. Whether we like it or not, true silence is just around the corner, but for now, here we are. No matter where you go, there you are. That’s scary. You can’t run from peace. No matter how hard you try, no matter how much you scream, or thrash, no matter how loudly you play your drums, or beat the wall in. No matter how much you write, or scribble, or jam your pen into the paper. No matter how fast you run. No matter how much coffee you drink, cigarettes you smoke, friends you make or lose. You can’t escape silence. You can’t escape peace. So, you may do yourself some good in finding some. I’m lucky to have found mine. Breathe in. Close your eyes. Think, and then don’t. Maybe I’ll tell you about it sometime.
