  Overall it wasn't bad, but why did it have to be so dark? I seriously think the cinematographer might not have worked with log before or, if on purpose, it was a terrible decision.

  Very good cinematography and interesting script, but both are let down by the awful editing that makes things confusing and seems to be directed at avoiding any emotional impact.

  They screened in my local cinema in a cycle of movies called “Context/ for Ukraine” with Kevin Toma playing a live piano concert. Truly an amazing experience. I won’t forget this one.

  With his third feature film, Robert Eggers crowns himself as a Master of Cinema. Deep knowledge of the language of film, great collaborations with his DP and incredible work with his actors make his productions amazing pieces of work. I will not miss one single thing this guy makes in the future.
