Ted Danson’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a fun short film that was made for the France Tourism Office in 1958. It shows off the Summer season on the Riviera with a sense of style and artistic originality that only a director like Agnès Varda could.
Looking at it now in 2020 it is an interesting look at the past and what people used to get up to on their Summer holidays. It's also laced with juicy historical tidbits as well as some excellent paraphrasing, especially when linking the word Eden.
I enjoyed it for all its quirks but it's also an excellent piece of filmmaking.
Worth a view.
