"Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money... they can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."
this is literally one of the greatest films I have ever fucking seen. haven't viewed it in years and it was such a breath of fresh air to feel like I was watching it for the first time all over again. i have so many memories connected to Batman and his universal legacy, and I feel like The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of those reasons, but mainly The Dark Knight. it's an extremely smart and well-played superhero film but doesn't sacrifice a lack of thrills for a good story, or well-developed characters. felt every ounce of adrenaline coursing through my veins as I looked on in awe. amazing shit.
