I cannot believe this is 30 years old. One of the movies that made me fall in love with film.
I will never forget the first time I saw this movie. My mom took me to see it at the old Starlight Drive-In where I live. It was a double bill with “Honey I Shrunk the Kids”.
I was a massive TMNT fan growing up, so when this came out, it was a religious experience for my 4 year old…
I've never been a huge fan of Wes Anderson films. I feel like they're pretentious and somewhat insist upon themselves. I feel almost obligated to go see one of his movies when they're released into theaters. The Grand Budapest Hotel was a very charming movie though. I enjoyed it for what it was and Ralph Fiennes did a wonderful job in the leading role. I recommend checking this one out. It was pretty damn delightful and fun.
