It shouldn't be so hard to find this movie (in the US without a VPN anyway). If it does ever get a deserved re-release - oh look, it turns 25 this year - I just hope we can get rid of that dreadful tagline on the DVD cover.
To the idea that this is nothing but pretty cinematography, I say that's some pumpkins.
Maybe it's because the general consensus caused me to expect nearly two hours of Frederic Remington paintings, but I found this (relatively) gripping. Not a lot happens, but it's not nothing, which heightened my reaction to what incident there is. And if that's not enough for you, just watch Michelle Williams' face, because there's a whole heck of a lot happening there.
Pretty sure this will gain a half-star with more time to brew and/or a rewatch.
