how can a film be so poorly written? there was so many snippets of something that had potential to build into a message (like the scene where Don yells at Tony in the rain) but fell completely flat. overall a very uncomfortable mess to watch.
A very strong entry for Tarantino, but not his best. The score is exceptional and Jennifer Jason Leigh's performance was outstanding. Could have worked better as a novel like Tarantino conceived it as but overall, very strong.
4/5 as I felt that some of the acting could have been stronger, the ending could've better hinted at what happens to the two, and I was not a fan of the overuse of slurs.
*Note that I watched the extended Netflix miniseries, if that changes anything*
