Window Horses: The Poetic Persian Epiphany of Rosie Ming ★★★½

Anne Marie Fleming's Window Horses, the Kickstarter-backed adaptation of her graphic novel, is a charming, engrossing window into the minds, hearts, and souls of poets. All human, all flawed, all caught up in the neverending search of self. If you can get past the seriously bad design of main character Rosie Ming--if it's meant to make her look foreign in the context of her new Iranian surroundings, it works but is an eyesore in the process--there's plenty to appreciate.
