I’m really glad I’m not pregnant and I’m not dating. It really is funny, but it’s more sad than anything. Give me more 84 minute movies.
I enjoyed this movie way more than I expected I might. I caught myself smiling all throughout. Honestly, my biggest issue, which takes it down at least half a star, was the soundtrack. At some points, the music (or lack thereof) was so striking and engaging. Unfortunately, the other two-thirds of the movie sounded like a commercial for the all new Dodge RAM Summer Sales Event, 0% APR when you sign now.
A basic documentary, but so so so sweet. Very similar to "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" I love stories about sweet men who understand children and are presumed to be gay because they exist outside of the tiny box in which masculinity is meant to be contained. Also, I'm in such awe of the physicality of Big Bird. If anything, watch this just to understand how all of that works.
