If you're that hungry then go eat your shit!
The Babadook follows a mother, Amelia, and son's troubles with an unwanted guest in their home. At first we are led to believe that the guest is a supernatural being, but it's pretty clear that the Babadook is a symbol for depression. The whole film is about depression. From the camera being very rigid and framing being narrow to the looks of confusion and pity…

This was pretty aight. It's been a while since I've seen the first (wow three years went quick) but I remember it being slightly better than this. The pacing was a little off in the second act, as well as in between the films two final action sequences. Welcome the rich man, he's hard for you to miss. His butt keeps getting bigger, so there's plenty there to kiss!

As someone who's only experience with anime is Dragon Ball and Naruto, this was very enlightening. Chihiro's quest to free her parents of their new found animorphism is as endearing as it is beautiful. Very. I did delay watching this one because of the stereotypes around the genre, but this has convinced to watch everything else by Ghibli.

Keep your damn filthy bones outta my mouth.

Ash is back! And this time he is more irreverent than ever before. This film starts off promising, satirising previous entries in the series and fantasy films in general, but loses momentum in the final third as it becomes what it originally mocked. Aside from the occasional quotable line, the ending had me checking the time. Bruce Campbell (and his chin)'s performance/s and some of the practical effects are the only noteworthy aspects to the picture.
