Us Again is the short animated film that aired before Raya and the Last Dragon at the theatre, and per usual it's one of those Disney shorts that is wordless but says much without any dialogue. It's cute, and beautifully drawn, but the kids at the movies really just wanted Raya to start.
It's about an older couple where the husband has aged and tired of dancing, or really anything. The wife laments this loss of youth and closeness. One magical night though, they're transformed back into their younger selves during a rainstorm, and dance their way across the city with love and energy. Reinvigorated, nonetheless this youthful transformation is only temporary, but their love is forever.
Unless they live in Texas, where they'll probably die of COVID in the next week or two. The end.
