Rewatched my 4th favourite film of all time, god only knows how many times I have revisited this film.

Still a mind-bending experience but a few aspects that aren’t a pain on the brain are the visual effects and production design. This film is absolutely beautiful and mesmerising to look at even after 50+ years of its release, neither of these aspects look outdated and were a visual treat.

PS - HAL 9000 is still cold, menacing and deceiving as ever, and is easily one of the greatest antagonists ever put on screen.
