This film was made with an incredible pacing for the story. I like the way Keene employed sound to enhance its atmosphere e.g. the footsteps, the howling wind, the unexpected soundtrack. It showed a solid cinephile behind the camera. I would love to revisit this if I ever get to read Grimm brothers tale.
