The Worst Person in the World

The Worst Person in the World appears to be a mess in the beginning. It's a strange mix of comedy, drama, romanticism and what a young adult in the 2020's can call real-life horror.

I was confused at first. I was so sure that the film had Julie as a co-protagonist, alongside her lover Aksel. But then things start to move in a different direction, and now I was thinking "Well, it's not Aksel but Eivind who is the co-protagonist".…

    The Batman

As usual, DC brings a dark, gritty aesthetic to the table. However, this time it works perfectly in pretty much all aspects.

I love the fact that we focus on Batman more than Bruce Wayne. It's not only the most interesting part of him but also probably the real him, as seen in several movies, series and comics. Batman is the true self and Wayne the alter ego.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Went to the premiere and the experience was amazing! I got to watch it with my friends in a more 'normal' environment that didn't happen since Endgame. So, on that part, I enjoyed it.

Is the movie good? Barely, but yes. The plot is driven by a MacGuffin in its more pure sense. It was kinda funny seeing that, actually. Aside from that, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness offer very little in terms of story. Very basic, with…

Absolutely stunning! The cinematography in this films is really impressive and breathtaking and brings those amazing landscapes and takes to life. The performances are all great too. They offer a lot of depth to each character, as well as an essence to even some of the 'lesser characters'.

I have to applaud how the violence was portrayed here. Yes, they are vikings and they are violent. And yes, there will be a lot of blood and killing, but I really…

    The French Dispatch

    ★★★★

The way the story develops is so fresh that it took me a few seconds to really understand it. The French Dispatch offers several small stories connected through the magazine. While some of the stories are not that interesting and some are amazing, the one consistently good thing in the film is the cinematography and production design.

All of the sets are gorgeous, shining in either black and white or color. The takes feel coherent and part of the same thing, even if the stories vary not only on their protagonists and plot but also in the era they happen.
