Delip Saravanan’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of the best DC films ever made. If you liked the last Marvel movie, then this is not meant for you. The story is heavily inspired from some of the classic Batman and Superman comics . This is definitely a dream come true for all DC fans out there. Went in as a Batman fan , came out admiring Superman. Ben Affleck is Batman and has taken the baton from Christian Bale very well. Zack Snyder should be given claps for pushing Batman to the extreme where no film maker has ever tried. Wonder Woman aka Gal Gadot is the new break out star in this movie. Her theme music is just epic. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor Jr is the Lex Lithor for the current generation. Well done Jesse. Lastly the music score was just epic.
Overall the ending of the movie just breaks the barrier of all comic book movies out there.
In my final thoughts of this movie, I really feel critics have been exposed to marvel movies almost every year that they forget what a real comic book movie should be.
"Messy" , "A beautiful disaster" " Zack Snyder's Doomsday" ? No no and no.
At true masterpiece with a few shortfalls which has been blown out of proportions by the Critics. Shame on you.
Meanwhile waiting for Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman,
