Noah Smith’s review published on Letterboxd:
First half definitely a slog. Basically just boring modern era Mission Impossible stuff. Once things get going there’s some confusion but once you get into it it’s understandable from a movie perspective.
Climax steps it up into what I was hoping for. Crazy weird MGS type stuff. Wish the whole movie was weird and crazy too. Drop the exposition and just give me wild shit.
Cinematography’s nothing special. Production aspects must’ve been an absolute mindfuck to get done. Score ranges from being annoyingly bumbumbumpapapapa to kinda cool and menacing, but the filmmaking doesn’t carry the same confidence or menace which is a shame.
