Interesting to see how neo-noir has adopted the connectedness of environment to larger social paranoia and conspiracy. Works very well for movies like The Big Lebowski, Inherent Vice, and now this. With all three leads being hippie stoner types even.
Definitely can’t peice everything together, but it’s not THAT confusing. It just goes pretty far out on some stuff, and I’m glad it did.
Like a conspiracy theorist’s wet dream it’s got some fun ideas to indulge on. Score is one of the best of the year too.
