Very faithful to the book, though 3.5hrs is definitely too long. I feel like it could have been 45min-1hr shorter.
I wish he spent more time in the second half with the Feds investigating and the trial because that was the most interesting parts in the book for me. But I guess he didn’t want to make that kind of film. The ending also felt quite abrupt to me.
