Laurie Strode’s review published on Letterboxd:
Handsomely shot, a great sense of place, and an poignant telling of the immigrant experience. So why didn't I connect with it? Truth is, there just isn't much going on throughout the film, with characters meandering through life figuring things out as they go. It's contemplative and gorgeous, but stopped me in my track as I tried desperately to connect on any emotional level.
