Scream is super fun and a "requel" done right.
The film is extremely self referential and the way they handled it with it being the 5th entry in the franchise exceeded my expectations.
I could have not asked for a better execution. Some people won't love the way it pans out just like my friend at the end of the movie "THAT WAS ABSOLUTE TRASH, 1/10" I was actually dumb founded at that comment.
Might be a bit divisive with some fans but if you love the franchise, especially the 1st then this is worth checking out.
