Fantastic.

For me it's hard not to fall in love with Wes Anderson and his films, he seems to be the prime example of a director that is able to turn style into substance, and vice versa. This is a story about self-acceptance and coming to terms with your personal strengths and weaknesses and owning up to them, and the ability to tell a story such as that or any for that matter, effectively, in a way that is just teeming with style and charisma, is perhaps one of the most underrated and underappreciated talents and skills in cinema today. Fantastic Mr. Fox is literally brimming with life and charm, hilarious and beautiful, as impactful as it is silly. Anderson's infectiously endearing style of storytelling, with this film probably being one of his flagship examples of it, is just too delightful.
