andrew’s review published on Letterboxd:
simultaneously over and undercooked. struggling to understand why my stepdad had a dvd copy purchased for full price in his collection. equally struggling to understand that madonna has a purpose-made “theme from with honors” song that plays over the end credits. a strange state of affairs throughout, but that’s what you come to expect from a guber/peters production, is it not?
would like to commend barbara ling on her always ace production design. her movies are always so full of interesting objects and places and if you take one glance at her credits, you’ll agree.
