Autumn Faust’s review published on Letterboxd:
Spiritual elements are much weaker than the physical ones, too often brought up with no respect for the physicality that makes them possible in this realm, selling out a strong bid for some sick corporeal paganism. Mad Max: Fury Road does this film's coolest aim much better than it. Contributes little else to a well worn tradition of abstracting man and nature, revenge, fuckin etc. Honestly probably prefer Valhalla Rising.
