The Wife ★★★★½

In design school I was taught about Ray and Charles Eames. As designers in the 50s and 60s, Charles got all the credit. More recently, there are theories that Ray was the brains of the outfit. This story of the woman behind - conspicuously behind - is the theme of The Wife, but Glen Close is stunningly front and centre.

I did find a few elements hard to believe - as much as I love Jonathan Pryce, would a young pretty Swedish photographer really want to kiss him? - all and all this was a fascinating take on credit and sexism.
