Surf Rock Godzilla. Less cooky and cosmic than the last few, feeling more like a James Bond/beach party mash-up. I appreciate what Fukuda is bringing to the table with the human characters, breaking the formula Hondo vehemently adheres to. The monster fights are a little lacking, but the Ebirah/Godzilla volley boulder match was worth the price of admission.
