8,4 out of TENƎꓕ
Not perfect but on concept, performances and set pieces alone I thought it was great. Nolan just again shows some things that I have never seen before. Felt like the first time I saw Interstellar; future viewings will decide if it fully clicks with me. Can’t wait to see it again. Great to see a NEW film in the cinema again.
Oh, and people complaining about the protagonist without backstory/emotional connection... didn’t bother me at all. This is Nolan’s Bond movie. The protagonist is James Bond. It’s not about him, it’s about the adventure he embarks on.
Last thing: Ludwig Göransson... jezus man that’s some extreme heart pounding music. Not as goosebumps inducing as Hans Zimmer’s usual Nolan collaborations but MAN. You could play this as a full set at an EDM concert. Just fucking insane.
