One of the first South Korean movies I saw was this deranged yarn of two neighbors with some VERY diametrical opposed approaches to eating; its cutting between multiple timeframes is one of the few subtle things about it.

An odd duck even for Hartley - doesn't work on any level, although I smell the meddlesome hand of exec producer Francis Coppola.

    Night of the Living Dead

Not-bad remake, George Romero keeping it in family with gore master Savini directing & original "Johnny" Russ Steiner producing; Tallman gives an intense, PTSD-fueled performance, whether screaming or shooting.

Fabled noir's rep better than it deserves: Power a touch too slick to pull off his heel role, & not enough Blondell - but Walker is so great as the femme fatale it's too bad she never got more roles along these lines.
