Do I even have to say I love this film? Because I LOVE everything about this film. No, I don’t think you understand ... I love this film. I know I just watched it on the 5th but it’s undeniably a masterpiece. Did you hear me? MASTERPIECE, all caps. This rewatch was absolutely big brain thinking.  

I relate to the characters. I mean, I don’t eat meat. ever. and I don’t drink pop, the bubbles bother my stomach. True facts lol. In all seriousness though, I relate to both Layla and Billy in a lot of ways. This film is very important to me. 

Bonus Story 
My Dad asks me what films I’ve been watching. I begin listing off titles knowing very well he’s never heard of them, but he’s nice enough to listen anyway. I say “Buffalo 66,” and to my surprise he looks up...and this man says “oh with Vincent Gallo? That movie’s fantastic.” exCUSE me sir??? Let me tell you, I have never been prouder.
