I'm a huge Mads Mikkelsen fan since I watched The Hunt and Hannibal show last year (the show is a masterpiece...go watch it). As he's a professional gymnast and dancer I never saw him showcase these talent anywhere, glad he did all that in the ending of Another Round.
The main premise of the film is very unique as I've seen a film on midlife crises in such an intoxicating way. The film is extremely poignant and the performances of each and everyone is off the charts.
There are many scenes which choked me up and throughout the film I also had a smile.
The direction of the film is what makes it what it is and the Oscar noms proves it.
Minari is my favourite international film out of the nominated but I was shocked and happy on Another Round's BAFTA win!
