I had the strongest psychological experiance iv had to a movie with this one.
It just feels wrong to put into words and intellectualize here.
Theres a really sharp envy i feel to Aster's work perticularly because i feel like he's making the stories and experiances that belong to me. Its a terrifying way of worship.
All i can say is this 100% is my top movie of the year.

The 1st act of this is damn near fucking perfect!
Just the way anxiety and curiosity and this feeling of Aporia is built, with the pitch perfect pace, all around the core story and perspective of a woman having an affair.
its a fucking masterpiece.
I usually hate Horror Remakes, but i would sell my soul for a chance to direct a modern version of this film.

How cool is it that theres a new wave of stop motion animation in a poetic arthouse type genre.
This was stunning to watch. I liked the 1st and the 3rd story much more than the 2nd one. Its a beautifully horrifying allegory of over indulging in materialism and how it turns order and comfort into a pathology.
