    Mr. Nobody

    ★★★★

This film is full of visual treats and great performances. The story is very simple but get's buried under a lot of unneccesary information and is cut and stitched together in a weird order 'to try' to make it more mindfucky I guess? Nonetheless the movie is a pleasure to watch. Going in to it the first 30min I didn't think I could watch it for the full length (2h20m) but after 30 more minutes I got used to the way of storytelling and the sometimes odd rhythim of the film.
    I would rate it a 7.8/10.

Very good movie. Astounding visuals. Jonathan Glazer nailed it once again!

    Brain on Fire

    ★★½

Astounding acting by Chloë Grace Moretz, Richard Armitage and Carrie-Anne Moss. Too bad the the rest of the movie sucks...
Visually it's pretty adequate. Nothing really special about it.
Storywise it's the worst. The tempo and plot points don't make sense and are compiled in a weird order.
Good movie to watch for great acting though.

    Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

    ★★★

If you watch this for the plot that's your own fault.

Seth Rogen + Chloe Grace Moretz THAT'S the real deal!
(+Zac Efron doing his usual stuff ofcourse)

    ★★★½

The combination of the very well scripted dialog with high end improvisations makes the characters real. The movie has a very good dynamic between comedy and drama and manages to give just both of each enough air to breathe. 7/10 would defintely recommend to anyone.

    ★★★★½

I didn't know Johnny Depp directed something. That said...
Stuff is a breathtaking old school 90's VHS short documentary that shows the horrible downwards spiral that John Frusciante went into with his(heroin) drug addiction.
    Very graphical and raw footage.

    All the Bright Places

    ★★★½

Pretty good movie if you'd stop 15min before the actual ending.
The ending now is pure wannabe emotional drainage (that doesn't work) and frankly undoes all the tension and emotion from the whole movie.
Elle Fanning and the score were nice though!

  • Death Valley

    Death Valley

    ★★½

No idea what's the point of this but 2,5 stars because of the silly concept and the slightly above average cinematography
