Vinicius Guimarães’s review published on Letterboxd:
"You might actually be the most derivative of them all"
These movies just don't work without Wes Craven, from the metatextual elements and self referencial dialogues to the shots of a blade piercing through human skin, it just doesn't sit right
The new cast is very good and so are (most of) the characters, but its own attempts of paying a homage to the series ends up bringing this down instead serving as a subversion of the "legacy sequel" trend
