Saltburn 2023
Remember the part in Promising Young Woman when Carey Mulligan spits in Bo Burnham’s coffee and he drinks it? There’s at least six of those moments in Saltburn. I absolutely loved this movie, is what I’m saying. Between this, Poor Things, and the Oldboy re-release, the freaks are eating good in 2023.
Emerald Fennell is a really special filmmaker. This thing is GORGEOUS. And Barry Keoghan really said “that’ll be back to back Oscar noms for me, thank you.”
