Austin Vincent’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is another one of those films that I appriciate from a far but fail to connect with on a more intimate level. As far as narrative construction, cinemetography, direction, score, and acting, this film is a real powerhouse and it deserves the praise it has been getting. However, it's a tad slow, engaging yes, but slow, it has some great themes, but they never really connected on a deeper level, but that very well could just be me, and also the lead in this film is sort of a blank slate, he does a good job, but it was hard for me to fully get into his character. Really well made film, I understand the love and it should continue to get it, it just didn't fully click for me. That's all.
