    Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - 6.25/10

    So it turns out all of the eye rolling and groaning when this was announced was misplaced. This is actually a damn good family friendly film. Possibly on par with the original? Hard to tell but I'm pretty sure my 10 year old self would've loved this just as much as the first. It cleverly brings Jumanji into the modern age by upgrading it from a board game to a console game.

    A well written, finely crafted British horror film which is genuinely creepy. It feels like such a long time since we've had a film like this. I think any horror enthusiast who grew up on 70's/80's horror will enjoy it.
