The Sentinel ★★★½

I hate it when a narrative equates queerness (in this case, lesbians) with lechery and nefariousness, I have no idea why you'd ever dare dub over Jeff Goldblum's voice, there are many stories about director Michael Winner being an absolute hellion, and as with so many similar narratives this film only really works as a serious horror film if you tote Catholicism as absolute truth, but it's so legitimately spooky and upsetting and I loved Cristina Raines so much that I have to recommend it regardless. The last half hour or so is absolutely chilling. All-around a more frightening film than The Beyond, which has a vaguely similar story.
