Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

I had a fear that Marvel was overhyping phase 4. And I was so completely wrong! They are opening a new frontier in the “superhero” genre. This movie was incredible and so ingenuously made. So excited for the new releases!

Could’ve been better but Seb is hot so

    The Kissing Booth 2

The way these movies are just comedies to me and I spend hours laughing at them. At this point I’m thinking it’s just satire.

    The Kissing Booth

I could literally hear the fanfiction out loud in my head. The fact that this is an actual movie is the funniest thing ever to me.

I understand why so many people said that this felt like a trailer. The soundtrack was way too much soz Hans.

I should probably stop watching musicals since I don’t like them

    Don't Look Up

This is the only movie about the pandemic/global warming I accept.
Stellar acting and a clever take on the subject, a very fun watch to start the new year.

interesting enough to see the sequel

The plot is so weak 😭

I want to get the negatives out of the way: I think the accents were bad, like really bad. The only one who was undetectable was Florence Pugh. Second, age-wise it was completely unbelievable. How could any of them pass for 13-17yo?
But it doesn't matter because this movie made me feel in a way that only a couple of movies have done before.
I started crying at the 30-minute mark and I couldn't stop until the end.
    Wherever they…

The only way I can describe this movie is: a caricature of a Tarantino movie based on an action comic.

Visually this is stunning, especially the set design. The fight choreographers and the stuntpeople deserve mad props. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie with so many people in an action scene! It was very good to see Lena in such a dynamic role considering I’d only seen her in GoT.

The girlbossery of it all is a little bit cheesy for me but you know what? I enjoyed it. There’s some good metaphors in this.
Good for a day of traveling.

This movie is actually pretty funny! One of those "mindlessly watching" activities for your Sunday afternoons.
Also, the fact that they cast Jeremy Renner makes the action scenes 100x funnier.
