3.75 stars; a great blend of wuxia and western action movie conventions, ultimately let down by having to be shoehorned into the Marvel movie formula (an overlong 3rd act, an over-reliance on CGI – albeit less so than in other MCU films, etc.)
Overall I really enjoyed it, but I expect the series to go downhill as its ending sets up the sequels to have to shoehorn in even more deus ex machina-laden superhero conventions for the purposes of MCU cross-promotion.
