This was marketed as a zombie movie set in World War II, but in actuality, it's a World Warr II movie with a handful of zombies that took itself much too seriously. Had it leaned more into the insanity of the plot and the zombie action, this could've been a horror favorite easily.

With the return of John McTiernan at the helm, this was an excellent installment in the Die Hard saga that added the stakes and tension while also calling back to the first film.
Bruce Willis does what he does best in the movie with the stellar addition of Samuel L. Jackson in the film. I also feel like this was the last Die Hard movie that had a bit more believability before diving into John McClaine being a superhero in the next two films. I rank this one my second favorite of the series.
