You know how a trailer can give the film away? There was quite a lot in the Artemis Fowl trailer. So much so, I was skeptical that the hour and a half running time could contain it all.
Well, it didn't.
It's basically an hour and a half trailer that gives away the story without actually telling you a story.
The first film was a fun film. I've seen it a few times. I doubt I'll be re-watching this one. Other than having the same characters, the songs weren't as good, the story felt confusing, and I was seeing how much time was left in the film less than half way through. Pretty sure they could have done better than this.
This movie was really fun. But the first rule about Cabin in the Woods is, you DON'T TALK about Cabin in the Woods. If you like horror, see it.
