I love this little shocker ever since I first saw it. On rewatch I loved it a little more. Its a nasty little thing. Tapping on so much taboo themes concerning family and children. Isabbelle Fuhrman is amazing as the little orphan adopted into a loving but emotionally fragile family. Its been labeled an uncomfortable film and I guess thats why I liked the flick. Theres grieving moms, murder attempts on little kids and siblings, horny parents doing it on the kitchen counter, throw a little incest vibe, I mean, we watch a fuckin nun get hammered to death. Plus a believable horror twist by the end. I couldn't ask for anything more.
