    Overrating this a little bit, mainly because of Bale's performance, because this is some smug shit.

    Just the way McKay deals with everything as if it's meant to blow our minds or change our opinion of the guy who "single-handedly changed modern politics" as if we don't already hate him.

    And the way this plays out - much like 'The Big Short' - as Scorsese bait, complete with freeze-frames, fourth wall breaks and just a little bit too much blunt…

    Spent last week going back and forth on this, as it's showing on IMAX and, as much as I wanted to see it again, the 4K is out in a couple of weeks and I could just wait, right?

    WRONG.

    It's IMAX and I'll probably never get the chance to watch it on this format ever again, so why wouldn't I go see it.

    Even if I was afraid that it wouldn't live up to the first viewing, at least…

    I'd written a pretty substantial thing about this before my internet cut out and I lost it forever.

    It wasn't that enlightening...but basically, Timm has finally published that Harley Quinn XXX fan fiction he's had in a drawer /his drawers, for years.
