this certainly feels different than the few tarantino films i’ve seen (i know, i’m getting around to the rest) but in the best way possible. i laughed, gasped in shock, and and watched through my hands covering my eyes during those especially violent last 20 minutes. it’s not my favorite tarantino, but i wouldn’t be unhappy if it was his last. it’s the most human of all his films, and shows us that the man can actually write something other than violence.
