Mishal Shuhaiber’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm honestly not even sure where to begin with this, because not only was this not was I was expecting in the slightest, it's one of the most surreal experiences I've had watching a movie in at least 2 or so years. Lynch managed to drag every conceivable emotion out of me, from excitement all the way to rage. It's something that I can't recall happening, at least not to this extent in a significant amount of time.
Maybe this could be due to my lack of familiarity with a good chunk of David Lynch's work or the fact that the final 20-30 minutes of this goes in directions that almost made my head fall off but describing this experience would take a lot longer than this brief summary. Regardless of what Mulholland Drive is, it will spark a reaction out of you. Whether you adore it or absolutely loathe its existence, you'll have something to say when this thing wraps up in ways you can't possibly imagine.
Looking forward to seeing this 2, 3, even 33 more times down the line.
