Just a bunge of dudes being dudes
I haven't watched this in over 6 years I'd say, and it's been long overdue.
I adore this film, on a par with 'Submarine' for my favourite coming of age film. And it is also my favourite book.
I love everyone in it, Teller and Woodley are an amazing partnership.
And, although it isn't as rough an ending as the book, it still has a similar effect of wanting to better ones self.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The complexity and oversaturation of this films script should not allow it to work. The people who read this before taking it on must have been mind blown.
The success, of course, goes to it's Directors. They have perfectly crafted a jam-packed film centred around relationships, with a hint of sausage fingers. (Exactly, how does that work)
