Мишка Бортник’s review published on Letterboxd:
Mines the hideous and trippy possibilities of early digital graphics in a way that reminds me distinctly of what Weirdcore does with deep/machine learning and significantly more sophisticated 3D-modeling technology today. Cyberpunk surrealism fueled by free association editing.
I didn’t pay a ton of attention to the “story” but it felt like the narration was more for mood than real narrative; maybe I’m just not smart enough to get it. Will probably rewatch this on mute to Boards or Canada’s “Geogaddi” or Aphex Twin’s “Selected Ambient Works vol. II” eventually.
