Warp’s review published on Letterboxd:
The film is actually constantly fun to watch, whether there is a fight or John walking down the street, those black and white images look cool and also have a certain meaning to them. The message and critique are even up till this day still relevant, if not more relevant. The only pity is that it takes a little while for John to find the glasses and the soundtrack could’ve been a bit more engaging, Carpenter has delivered better in that area. Last 30 seconds are also genius.
