Strangers on a Train ★★★½

At times this feels more like a comedy than much of a thriller and is all the more enjoyable for that.

The overacting is quite intense and the premise gets more and more ridiculous as time moves on, never quite clarifying how it all ends in terms of guilt and/or complicity.

However the slightly homoerotic relationship between the two male leads and the inclusion of a few too many funny old people making comic relief made the film very watchable, nowhere near the tension it likely once held.
