Without question, one of my favorite films released so far this century, and for sure my favorite Yorgos Lanthimos movie.
It’s exactly like my thoughts on Denis Villeneuve. Both Yorgos and Denis had made movies before, but their breakout films (Dogtooth and Incendies, respectively) were both made the same year, and both nominated for the best Foreign Language Film Oscar.
